Liaqat Abbas

Liaqat Abbas has extensive experience in the field of forensic toxicology and laboratory management, with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as a Manager and Head of GC/MS and LC/MS/MS at United States Drug Testing Laboratories since September 2001, Liaqat has previously held positions at LabCorp from 1996 to 2001 as a Senior Certifying Scientist and GC/MS Supervisor. Earlier roles include work at Laboratory Corporation of America, where Liaqat served as a Forensic Toxicology Certifying Scientist and Senior Laboratory Technologist from 1993 to 1996. Liaqat Abbas holds a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from Ross University School of Medicine, acquired between 1979 and 1985, and has also received training from Dale Carnegie.
