Catherine Ramsden

Catherine Ramsden is the Founding Senior Director of Useful Studio, an architectural practice that emphasizes innovative design. Currently, they serve as a Senior Director at Useful Simple Trust and are part of the Strategic Design Panel with National Highways. Catherine has held previous roles as an Associate Partner at Foster and Partners and a Planning and Urban Designer at WRT. They have also contributed to academia as a Graduate Teaching and Research Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania and as an External Examiner at the University of Westminster. Catherine completed a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Design at the University of Colorado Boulder and earned a Master of Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania, where they were recognized as Valedictorian.
