Mike Ottavi-Brannon

Mike Ottavi-Brannon has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Mike is currently a Co-Founder at Useful since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Amplitude for six years, starting as a Product Manager in 2016 and progressing to Group Product Manager in 2020. Mike also held positions such as Principal Product Manager and Senior Product Manager during their tenure at Amplitude.

Before joining Amplitude, Mike was the Co-Founder and Head of Product at Harvst, Inc., a medical cannabis delivery service, from 2015 to 2016. Mike played a significant role in the company by managing product strategy, marketing campaigns, and supplier agreements. Additionally, they designed and developed referral marketing campaigns and brand ambassador programs, resulting in a substantial increase in revenue and order volume.

Prior to Harvst, Inc., Mike worked as a Senior Product Manager at Blue Shell Games from 2014 to 2015, where they led the development and implementation of successful features for the flagship title, "Lucky Slots." Mike also negotiated partnership deals with content providers, which was the company's first-ever content licensing agreement.

Earlier in their career, Mike held various positions at Kabam, including Product Manager - Mobile and Associate Product Manager - Mobile. Notably, they were the lead product manager for the top-grossing title, "Hobbit: Kingdoms of Middle-earth," and played a significant role in scaling revenue and monitoring game metrics.

Mike also gained experience in investment banking as an Investment Banking Analyst at UBS Investment Bank from 2011 to 2012, where they conducted valuation analyses and engaged with clients and buyers during sell-side processes. Mike also co-founded Hermes, a mobile application that incentivizes responsible driving behavior, from 2010 to 2012.

Before that, Mike worked as a Business Technology Analyst at Street Solutions, Inc. in 2010 and as a Summer Intern at Orthopedic Sciences, Inc. in 2009.

Mike Ottavi-Brannon attended Harvard-Westlake School from 2004 to 2007. Mike then pursued higher education at the University of Pennsylvania from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSE) with a specialization in Systems Engineering.
