Sascha Mombartz is a Co-Founder and Head of Product at Keyp since October 2022. In 2020, they were an Author at Close Knit, where they focused on building and growing communities. In 2017, Sascha served as a Co-Author for the Community Canvas, a framework for building meaningful communities. From 2012, Sascha was the Founder & Design Director at The Office for Visual Affairs, where they specialized in creating precise and engaging messaging for early stage projects and startups. They have also been a Founding Fellow at On Deck since March 2021 and a Council Member at Design Museum Everywhere since October 2020. Sascha became a Fellow at The RSA (Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce) in May 2019. They have been a Member of Sandbox since April 2010 and of Badassery since May 2020. In 2018, Sascha worked on Branding & UX Design at Tilt Dev.
Sascha Mombartz began their education at DBSAA German School in Addis Ababa, where they attended Kindergarten from 1984 to 1990. Sascha then moved on to Ruamrudee International School in Bangkok, where they completed their Grade School education from 1990 to 1994. Following this, they attended Schloss Hagerhof in Bad Honnef and obtained a High School degree from 1994 to 1997. Later, from 1997 to 2002, they attended DEO Kairo, where they also earned a High School degree. Moving forward, Sascha pursued higher education at the University of North Texas from 2003 to 2005, specializing in Communication Design. Finally, they attended The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a focus on Art & Design.
