Gary Yin

Gary Yin is currently the Head of Business Operations at Motion, a real estate startup backed by Fifth Wall and a16z. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Business Development at Aloft from May 2021 to June 2022. Gary has also been a Venture Fellow at Pear VC from January 2021 to October 2021, and Co-Founder of Perked from July 2019 to October 2020. From April 2018 to May 2019, Gary was an Analytics professional at Blue Apron. Prior to that, they worked as an Associate at EY-Parthenon from September 2016 to April 2018, and as a High School Math Teacher at Teach For America from August 2014 to July 2016.

Gary Yin earned their MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business on a full merit scholarship. Gary also holds a Master's Degree in Urban Education from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain Management and Finance from Gies College of Business - University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
