Chetan Narain is the Co-Founder and CTO at Pepper, a previous Group Product Manager at Uber, and an Associate Product Manager at Google.

Chetan Narain has a passion for data and building data-driven cultures. This led him to their role as an Associate Product Manager on the Android Metrics team at Google. Chetan was responsible for analyzing data to understand Android's place in the mobile ecosystem and figuring out how to improve it. Chetan also fostered the development of a data-driven culture within Android. Chetan's team grew from 4 members to 21 during their time on the team.

Chetan's passion for data and culture also led him to their role as the first Group Product Manager on Uber Eats. Chetan helped start the Eats business and was responsible for data analysis to help make product decisions.

Chetan Narain started their career as a Summer Researcher at Princeton University where they worked on various research projects. Chetan then interned at Pangea3, a legal outsourcing company, and Pratham, an education nonprofit. At both internships, they gained experience in software engineering and project management.

In 2010, Chetan Narain interned at Google on the YouTube Monetization team. Chetan developed a scheme to better predict popular videos which increased monetization of one-hit viral videos. Narain then returned to Google as an Associate Product Manager on the Android Metrics team where they stayed until 2014.

Narain left Google in 2014 to join Uber as a Group Product Manager on the Uber

Chetan Narain reports to Bowie Cheung, Co-Founder & CEO. Matthew Khilaeizadeh - Software Engineer, Marco Azer - Engineer, and Marcus Zhu - Engineer report to Chetan Narain. Chetan Narain works with and Ivana Tesanovic - Co-Founder & VP, Operations.
