Alex Berkenkamp

Alex Berkenkamp started their work experience as a M&A Teaching Assistant at the University of Southern California - Marshall School of Business in 2012. Following this, they worked in technology investment banking roles at GCA and Deutsche Bank from 2013 to 2015. From 2015 to 2018, they worked as Strategic Finance & Business Operations at Instart Logic Inc. Alex then transitioned to the role of Strategic Finance Manager at Segment from 2018 to 2020. From 2020 to 2023, Alex worked at Benchling, first as a Senior Strategic Finance Manager and later as the Director of Strategic Finance. Currently, they are the Head of Finance at Speak, the world's first AI-driven language learning platform.

From 2009 to 2013, Alex Berkenkamp attended the University of Southern California, where they completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Business Administration. Their primary field of study was Finance & Business Economics.
