Kyoko Oda

Kyoko Oda has a diverse work experience spanning across different industries and roles. Starting in 2003, Kyoko worked as an English Language Instructor at Luther Gakuin Junior and High School until 2005. From 2005 to 2006, they were a Project Management Administrator at Panasonic Mobile Communications Co., Ltd., where they executed project management tools, translated company documents, and attended global telephone conferences. Kyoko then worked as a Sales Representative at Nancy's Inc.'s Overseas Business Division from 2006 to 2011.

In 2011, Kyoko served as an Internal Translator and Interpreter at AMROS Inc., translating software manuals, contracts, and system specifications. Kyoko also provided interpretation services during meetings with executives, engineers, and marketing personnel. From 2013 to 2018, Kyoko served as a Bilingual Administrator at Tankers Superintendent Group Co. Ltd., administering dispatching procedures for Marine Superintendents.

In 2018, Kyoko became a Personal Coach for English language learners at Sail, and in 2020, they became an English Second Language Instructor at Sugino Fashion College. Kyoko then founded Sail English Coaching Service Co., Ltd. in 2022. In the same year, Kyoko also worked as a Content Editor at Speak.

Currently, Kyoko is working as an E-School Coach at Waseda University, where they assist with the Intercultural Communication course, facilitates online discussions, and assigns participation grades to students.

Kyoko Oda obtained a Bachelor's degree in French Literature from Kyoritsu Women's University in the years 1995 to 1999. Later, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language/ESL Language Instructor at San Francisco State University from 2000 to 2003. More recently, in 2019 to 2020, they engaged in a program at the University of Washington's Continuum College, specializing in Global Business, Marketing, and Entrepreneurship.
