Christine Hutchinson has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Christine started their career in 2013 as a Research Assistant at the University of South Florida. In 2013, they also began working as a Registered Nurse at Tampa General Hospital, specializing in long-term tracheostomy ventilator, infectious disease, and palliative care patients. Christine took on various roles during their time at Tampa General Hospital, including Charge Nurse and Resource/Preceptor for new nurses. Christine actively participated in committees and contributed to strategic plans and initiatives to improve patient outcomes.

In 2019, Christine transitioned to the University of South Florida as a Nurse Care Manager and later became an RN Care Manager Team Leader. In these roles, they led the population health team, achieved organizational goals, and acted as a subject matter expert in Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) and other quality and value-based care programs. Christine also served as the primary contact for Accountable Care Organization.

Currently, Christine is working at USF Tampa General Physicians as the Quality Operations Assistant Director. Christine'sresponsibilities include the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality, patient safety, and population health management programs. In 2022, they will assume the position of Director of Quality and Patient Safety, ensuring the alignment of organizational objectives with value-based goals.

Throughout their career, Christine has demonstrated expertise in quality improvement, patient safety, and population health management. Christine has proven their ability to lead teams, achieve organizational goals, and contribute to strategic initiatives.

Christine Hutchinson earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from the University of South Florida, completing their education from 2009 to 2013. In addition to their degree, they also hold several certifications, including Ambulatory Care Nursing (AMB-BC) from the American Nurses Credentialing Center, obtained in August 2021. Christine has also completed various professional development programs and obtained certifications in project management and modern management tools from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education. Furthermore, Christine obtained the TGH Lead Class of 2023 certification from Tampa General Hospital and is currently working towards the Making Help Helpful certification from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education, expected to be obtained in 2023.
