Carlos Romero

Carlos Romero has extensive leadership experience in operations and financial management across various industries. Currently serving as Director General de Minas at USG since January 2013, Carlos oversees the financial performance and strategic direction of the Mining Division. Previously, as Director de Operaciones for USG LATAM, responsibilities included managing manufacturing operations and supply chain processes throughout Latin America. Prior to USG, Carlos held the position of Director de Operaciones at Graham Packaging, managing six plants in Mexico, and served as Gerente Planeación/Producción/Planta at Sherwin Williams, focusing on operational management and quality assurance. Carlos began the career at Unilever as Jefe de Ingeniería/Jefe de Producción. Educational credentials include a Strategic Thinking for Executives program from the University of Cambridge and several business management specializations from prestigious institutions.
