Geoffrey Streat has a diverse range of work experience. Geoffrey currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer for Usher's New Look, a non-profit organization focused on transforming the lives of under-resourced youth. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Place-Based Initiatives at the United Way of Greater Atlanta, where they led a community-based, collective impact framework to revitalize neighborhoods. Geoffrey also served as an Assistant Project Director for the African-American Male Initiative at the University System of Georgia, working to increase educational attainment among Black males. Additionally, Geoffrey has experience as the Administrative Director of Team Eagle One, an outreach program promoting career opportunities in Naval Special Warfare, and as the Coordinator of the Upward Bound Program at Atlanta Metropolitan State College, providing support to students preparing for college entrance. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Managing Partner at HH Development Group, a residential real estate development company, and as a Financial Analyst in the Treasury Group at General Motors Acceptance Corporation. Geoffery's work experience highlights their commitment to education, community development, and youth empowerment.
Geoffrey Streat obtained their Bachelor of Arts (Cum Laude) degree in Psychology from Morehouse College, where they studied from 1991 to 1996. Geoffrey later pursued their MBA with a specialization in Finance at Clark Atlanta University from 1999 to 2001.
