Louis F. Usherwood

CEO at Usherwood Office Technology

Lou Usherwood began his career with Usherwood Office Technology in 1986 as a salesperson in the company's Syracuse office. After successfully launching the company in Syracuse, he then opened established business in nearby cities. In 1993, Lou became President of Usherwood and in 1997, purchased the business from his parents Charles and Carol Usherwood. Since then, Lou has opened an additional 17 branch offices of the company in six states throughout the Northeast United States. He has also stewarded four additional business acquisitions and in his thirty-five years with the company Lou has seen sales increase from 2 Million in revenues to over 34 Million in revenues in 2020. Lou was born in Oswego, New York and went on to graduate High School at the Northwood School in Lake Placid. He was awarded an Associates of Graduates Scholarship from the United States Military Academy at West Point and later received a Congressional nomination to attend West Point. Lou spent two years at West Point and excelled in Military Leadership. He gained an Honorable Discharge from the United States Army in 1986 and then joined the family business.
