In 2006, they joined TEKsystems as a Technical Recruiter, where they were responsible for identifying, attracting, and screening qualified candidates for both consulting and permanent engagements within the IT industry. In 2009, they joined Institute for Advanced Technology as an Assistant to Program Manager, providing project support to the Principal Investigator/Program Manager. Later that year, they joined Experis (formerly Manpower Professional/COMSYS) as a Technical Recruiter, where they were responsible for full lifecycle recruiting for a wide range of Information Technology, Engineering, and Business Professional contract and direct hire positions. In 2012, they joined ICONMA as a Senior Recruiter, recruiting for Information Technology, Engineering, and Business Professionals to fulfill contract positions on a national level. Finally, in 2013, they joined uShip.com as a Sr. Manager, Talent Acquisition, where they were an internal recruiting manager, supporting the hiring needs for uShip.
Angie Meier has a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from Texas A&M University, which they obtained between 2000 and 2004. In February 2020, they earned four certifications from LinkedIn in Coaching Employees through Difficult Situations, Improving Employee Performance, Leading with Emotional Intelligence, and Transitioning from Manager to Leader.
