Jace Deloney

Jace Deloney has extensive work experience building transportation technology products for consumers, businesses, and public agencies. As a Product Leader, Jace has cultivated a unique blend of product knowledge, domain expertise, and passion for solving customer needs.

In his current role as Senior Product Manager at uShip, he helped forge a new path for the nation's leading online shipping marketplace.

In his prior role as Product Manager for the Austin Transportation Department's Data and Technology Services Team, he led the vision, roadmap, and development of the Shared Mobility Operations Dashboard and Vision Zero Crash Data System. These two products have enabled city staff to ingest, manage, and analyze novel geospatial and mapping datasets with confidence for the first time. Three years later, the Austin Transportation Department continues to use these mobility data and visualization products to manage shared mobility operations and prioritize public safety infrastructure projects.

At moovel North America, he built a reputation for being the go-to expert on the quickly-changing mobility landscape, moovel's transit agency customers, and their end users. He used his knowledge of geospatial, mapping, and routing solutions to transform a mobile ticketing app into a full multimodal navigation solution for our transit agency customers and their riders. He successfully managed the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for a mobility app that was used monthly by more than a million people in North America and Europe.

I have a talent for leading and inspiring international, cross-functional teams to achieve a shared product vision. In 2018, I led an international team of 16 developers and designers to consolidate two separate mobile app platforms to enable moovel to share products and features across our North American and European markets. I also managed the testing and delivery of the FlexLA app, moovel's first on-demand ridesharing service in North America. In that role, I worked with an EU-based product and engineering team to refine product and design requirements for the North American market.
