Noboru Taniguchi has extensive work experience in the field of navigation systems and software development. Starting in 1990, they worked as an Electronics Engineer at Zexel Corporation, focusing on diesel engine control functions. Noboru later joined Zexel Innovation, Inc. as an Electronics Engineer/Software Engineer for automotive navigation system development. In 1999, Taniguchi became a Senior Electronics Engineer at Bosch Japan, where they specialized in electronic engine control unit development for heavy-duty vehicles. Noboru then transitioned to Robert Bosch GmbH as an Assistant Manager/Senior Electronics Engineer, contributing to the development of fuel pressure control systems. In 2001, Taniguchi worked as a Senior Software Engineer at both Bosch Japan and Visteon Corporation. From 2002 to 2012, they held various positions at Horizon Navigation, Inc., including VP of Engineering/Senior Software Engineer, Vice President of Engineering, and Senior Director of Research and Development. During this time, they were involved in several key projects, such as the co-development of ARM base platforms and the development of external navigation systems. From 2012 to 2019, Taniguchi served as a Sr. Account Manager at TomTom, where they played a crucial role in managing key accounts. Currently, they are working as the Director of Sales at Dynamic Map Platform North America.
Noboru Taniguchi obtained their Bachelor's degree in Electronics from Hosei University between 1986 and 1990.
