Mike Marrero

Mike Marrero has extensive experience in the utility locating industry, currently serving as the President of the Board of Directors at the National Utility Locating Contractors Association (NULCA) since November 2014. Marrero has been with USIC since March 2008, holding multiple leadership positions including Regional Director for the West Coast, Regional Director, Regional Manager, and District Manager. Prior to USIC, Marrero worked as a Regional Manager and Director of Safety, Training and Quality at Consolidated Utility Services, Inc. from February 2005 to January 2008. Marrero also contributed to the utility sector as a Master Judge for the International Utility Locate Rodeo from 2001 to 2008 and as Safety and Training Manager at On Target Locating from April 2001 to January 2005. Marrero’s career began in the US Army as a Specialist E-4/Medic from May 1990 to May 1996, following education at the Academy of Health Science and MCCC from 1989 to 1991.
