Rogerio J. Prates

Rogerio J. Prates has extensive experience in production programming and leadership in the steel industry, currently serving as a Programador de Produção de PCP III at USIMINAS since April 1998. Since January 2011, Rogerio has been responsible for daily production scheduling and product control, ensuring alignment with the company's complex production plans. Rogerio has also led projects focused on reducing alloy mixtures in liquid steel production and has previously held the position of Líder de Produção, where responsibilities included ensuring compliance with production procedures and fostering a motivating environment for team growth. Prior experience includes working as a Técnico de Suporte at Digifarma, where duties involved system installation and performance monitoring for pharmacy automation. Rogerio holds a degree in Production Engineering with a focus on Project Management from Faculdade Pitágoras in Minas Gerais, completed between 2011 and 2016.
