Laquanda Ellison

LaQuanda Ellison has extensive experience in the IT field, with a focus on project management and analysis. LaQuanda currently works at USO as the Director of Technical Delivery, a position they have held since July 2022. Prior to that, they were a Senior IT Project Manager at USO from March 2019 to July 2022. LaQuanda also served as an IT Project Manager at USO from November 2017 to March 2019.

Before joining USO, LaQuanda worked at the United States Postal Service as a Principal Business Systems Analyst from July 2016 to November 2017. LaQuanda was also employed at CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield as a Lead Requirements Analyst from February 2015 to July 2016. Earlier in their career, LaQuanda held roles as a Senior Consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton from December 2013 to February 2015, and as a Federal Consultant at Deloitte from August 2012 to December 2013.

Their professional journey began as a Business Analyst/QA Tester at Florida Peninsula Insurance Company from July 2010 to August 2012. LaQuanda also worked as a Business Systems Analyst at BlueCross BlueShield of FL from August 2007 to December 2008. Before this, they were a Contractor at ProV International from July 2006 to August 2008.

LaQuanda Ellison earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems-Business from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University between 2001 and 2005. LaQuanda later pursued a Master's degree in Management Information Systems with a concentration in Information Security from Nova Southeastern University from 2009 to 2011. Additionally, LaQuanda obtained certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in November 2019, and Certified Scrum Product Owner and Certified Scrum Master from the Scrum Alliance in December 2015.
