Technical Sales Engineer at USound

Andrea Greco's work experience includes a role as a Field Application Engineer at USound GmbH starting in October 2022. Prior to that, they worked at AVL as a Senior Acoustical Engineer from January 2019 to September 2022, where they focused on acoustical design, simulation, optimization, and testing for various applications. Andrea also provided technical support for customers and suppliers and participated in R&D projects in acoustics. Before AVL, they served as an NVH Engineer at Ford Motor Company from September 2015 to December 2018, specializing in Intake and Exhaust NVH analysis and design. Andrea was responsible for acoustical design, planning, optimization, and testing for Ford of Europe powertrains and vehicle programs. Additionally, they worked on R&D projects related to acoustics during their time at Ford. Andrea has previous experience as an Acoustics Consultant at Acoustechs and AcusticaStudio, an Instructor and Acoustics and Physical Agents Consultant at Progetto Ambiente S.r.l., a Lecturer at Politecnico di Milano, and an IT Consultant at Eos s.r.l. progettazione civile, ambiente e sicurezza. Andrea also completed internships at IFEC consulenze SA and Controlli Ambientali srl.

Andrea Greco has a diverse education history consisting of multiple degrees and areas of study. In 1999, Andrea obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Clarinet from the Istituto Musicale "V.Bellini" di Catania. Following this, from 2003 to 2009, Andrea pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electronic Engineering at the Università di Catania. After completing the BSc, Andrea attended the Politecnico di Milano from 2010 to 2012, earning a Master of Science (MSc) in Computer Engineering with a specialization in Sound and Music Design. To further enhance their expertise, Andrea pursued a Certificate of Competence in Environmental Acoustics (TCAA) from the Politecnico di Milano, completing it in 2013. Andrea's education history showcases a strong background in both technical engineering and music-related fields.
