Kaitlyn Lucey has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Kaitlyn started their career at California Institute of Technology, where they completed their PhD in Environmental Science & Engineering. After that, they worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at UCSF in the field of Medicine. In 2016, Kaitlyn joined McKinsey & Company as a Consultant. Their responsibilities at McKinsey included providing strategic consulting services. In 2019, Kaitlyn joined US Pharmacopeia as the Enterprise Strategy Director. Their role involved developing and implementing high-impact strategies, conducting market assessments, and evaluating stakeholders' needs. Additionally, they served as the Founder and Chair of the USP's Global Women's Network Women in Science Sub-Team, where they organized events and advocated for women in science.

Kaitlyn Lucey earned a PhD in Environmental Science & Engineering from Caltech between 2008 and 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a BA in Biological Sciences from Wellesley College, graduating between 2004 and 2008.
