Shreyash Suryawanshi

Shreyash Suryawanshi is an experienced data scientist currently serving as the Lead Data Scientist at US Pharmacopeia since February 2019. In this role, Shreyash manages research and development for a sophisticated machine learning model focused on forecasting drug shortages in the US market, overseeing all phases of the project lifecycle. Previously, Shreyash worked as a Data Scientist in Strategy, developing machine learning models for product prioritization, user segmentation, and anomaly detection using AWS cloud. Shreyash also gained experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for Database Systems at the University of Maryland and as a Team Lead Intern at Paradyme Management Inc., where Shreyash contributed to the development of online sponsored search campaigns. Shreyash holds a Master of Science in Information Systems from the University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Vidyalankar Institute of Technology.
