Weidong Zhao

Weidong Zhao PhD is a highly experienced professional in the fields of biochemistry, molecular biology, and analytical development. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Digital & Innovation at US Pharmacopeia since March 2023, Weidong also founded PQBIO Services LLC in June 2021. Previously, at NOVAVAX INC, Weidong held the position of Senior Scientist/Team Lead in Analytical Development, focusing on the development of drug potency and quantitation methods. Additional roles include Scientist IV at US Pharmacopeia, Analytical Development Scientist at the Vaccine Production Program/NIAID/NIH, and various positions at Northeast Ohio Medical University and Crystal Diagnostics. Weidong holds a Ph.D. from The University of Georgia and has an extensive educational background, including degrees from Kent State University, the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Peking University.
