Brad Goodwin

Scientist Officer at USPHS Commissioned Corps

Brad Goodwin serves as the Deputy Office Director at the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry since August 2020 and has been a Scientist Officer with the Commissioned Corps of the U.S. Public Health Service since February 2016. Previously, Brad held the role of Senior Service Fellow at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and was an ORISE Fellow hosted by ATSDR. Earlier in their career, Brad was a Science & Technology Policy Fellow at AAAS, a Graduate Research Fellow at The Ohio State University, and a Research Scientist at Battelle. Brad's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Atmospheric Science and an MS in Environmental Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis, where Brad also obtained a BS in Chemical Engineering.
