Dan Johnson, MPH, RDN, CSSD, ACSM-CEP, is a seasoned professional in public health and nutrition with extensive experience in various roles. Currently serving as a Registered Dietitian at the Commissioned Corps of the U.S. Public Health Service since June 2016, Dan oversees officer responses and deployment activities during public health crises. Additionally, Dan has held positions as a Dietitian at The National Institutes of Health and as adjunct faculty at Northland Pioneer College, where instruction focused on medical nutrition therapy. Previous roles include Public Health Nutritionist at the Indian Health Service, Performance Dietitian at EXOS, and volunteer Sports Dietitian at the University of Maryland. Dan's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Program Planning and Evaluation from The George Washington University and a B.S. in Exercise Physiology and Metabolism from Washington State University.
