Israel Cross, PhD, MA, CAPS, ECHM, CDP, is a dedicated Public Health Gerontologist and advocate for age-friendly communities, currently serving as a Public Health Analyst at the Health Resources and Services Administration. With extensive experience at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, Israel led initiatives to enhance healthcare transparency and improve quality reporting. Israel holds a PhD in Gerontology from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and has contributed as a mentor in the ASA RISE Fellowship and as a member of the Longevity Ready Maryland Workgroup. Additionally, Israel serves as the President of the National Aging In Place Council and is an active member of the Editorial Board for the Public Policy & Aging Report.
