Jibril Abdus-Samad is an experienced professional in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors, currently serving as a Policy Lead in the Office of Pharmaceutical Quality at the FDA since January 2008. Jibril has held various roles, including Biotechnology Labeling Reviewer and Drug Safety Evaluator, while also serving as a Lieutenant Commander in the Commissioned Corps of the U.S. Public Health Service since 2013. Previous positions include Anticoagulation Clinical Specialist and Primary Care Clinical Pharmacist at the Department of Veterans Affairs from January 2004 to January 2008, as well as Clinical Pharmacist at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center from November 2002 to January 2004. Jibril holds a degree from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia and a Graduate Certificate in Patient and Product Safety from the University of Southern California. Educational background includes graduation from Brooklyn Technical High School in 1994.
