Lena Choe

Lena Choe, PharmD, BCGP, has extensive experience in drug information and pharmacy management, currently serving as Branch Chief in the FDA Division of Drug Information since September 2008. In this role, Lena Choe supervises staff in addressing over 60,000 inquiries annually related to human drug products and oversees performance evaluations and budget decisions. Previously, as Team Lead and Drug Information Pharmacist at the FDA, Lena Choe managed a team providing critical drug information to the public. Earlier career experience includes various pharmacy management roles at CVS Pharmacy, Superfresh Pharmacy, the University of Maryland Medical Center, and RITE AID, alongside service in the Commissioned Corps of the U.S. Public Health Service, holding ranks from Lieutenant to Commander. Lena Choe is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Health Communication at Johns Hopkins University, complementing a PharmD from the University of Maryland Baltimore.
