Public Health Officer

Lysette Deshields, PharmD, JD, is an experienced professional in the fields of pharmacy and regulatory affairs, currently serving as a Public Health Officer in the Commissioned Corps of the U.S. Public Health Service since January 2012. Recently, in August 2024, Lysette held roles as Senior Program Management Officer, Senior Regulatory Officer, and Assistant Regulatory Officer at the FDA. Lysette completed a Doctor of Pharmacy degree at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey-New Brunswick, and a law degree at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law.
