Matthew L.

Matthew L. is an Epidemic Intelligence Service Officer at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and a Lieutenant Commander in the Commissioned Corps of the U.S. Public Health Service. They held positions as a Clinical Instructor in Infectious Disease at UW Health and as a Hospitalist with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Prior to these roles, they completed their residency in Internal Medicine at UC Health. Matthew earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis.
