Kathryn Ball

Kathryn Ball is a legal professional with extensive experience in healthcare and litigation. Currently serving as Senior Operations Counsel at United Surgical Partners International, Inc. since January 2022, Kathryn previously held the role of Associate Operations Counsel. Prior experience includes Associate Counsel at SurgCenter Development from October 2014 to December 2021 and Attorney at Garvey Schubert Barer, focusing on labor and employment, healthcare, and trust and estates litigation. Kathryn began a career in research, working as Research Director and Editor at Baltimore magazine (2001-2003) and as a researcher at The 19th Century Shop (2004-2008). Kathryn holds a JD from Willamette University College of Law, an MSc from The University of Edinburgh, and a BA in English and American Literature from the University of Maryland.
