Barry Hobson

Barry Hobson, SHRM-CP, currently serves as an EEO Investigator at the United States Postal Service since July 2025. Prior to this role, Barry held multiple positions at UFCW, including Human Resources Director and Assistant Director of Human Resources, from August 2022 to April 2025. At Amalgamated Transit Union Local 689, Barry worked as Chief of Staff & Executive Assistant to The President from November 2017 to August 2021, where responsibilities included managing operations, overseeing staff recruitment and development, and serving as a negotiator in labor agreements. Barry's earlier experience includes serving as Office Administrator at AFL-CIO from March 2012 to January 2016. Barry holds a Bachelor's degree and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Human Resources Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
