VP & Chief Information Security Officer at USPS

Heather Dyer is currently the VP, Chief Information Security Officer at USPS. Heather has been with the United States Postal Service since August 1998 and has been the Director Identity and Access Management since November 2020. In this role, Heather is responsible for managing a medium size team of senior managers, staff and contractors. Heather is also responsible for enabling technology solutions to modernize the internal identity lifecycle management (ILM), privileged access management (PAM), enterprise access management (EAMS), and customer identity and access management (CIAM) systems to enable stronger security and improve the user experience. Heather also collaborates with external federal agencies to provide government services to citizens and explore new revenue generating opportunities. Heather has developed technology solutions to address key business needs including block-chain technology, advanced machine learning and algorithms.

Heather Dyer has a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems from Southern New Hampshire University and is currently pursuing a MS in Cybersecurity Management and Policy from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
