John Jinright

John Jinright currently serves as a Letter Carrier for the United States Postal Service, a position held since May 2024. Prior to this role, John was the Accompanist and Department Manager for the Music Department at Goshen High School from August 2022 to May 2024. John's academic career includes a long tenure as a Professor at Troy University from January 1993 to October 2022. Additional experience includes roles in sales and repair at Capitol Music and co-ownership at Bandstand, Inc., as well as inventory and purchasing at Nuncie's Music. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Music Education from Auburn University, a Master of Science in Education with a focus on Music Education from Troy University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Music and Business from Birmingham-Southern College.
