Matthew Helman has extensive legal experience spanning various roles in public defense and legal education. After earning a BA in History from The George Washington University and a JD from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law, Matthew served as an intern at the Law Office of Marcia Binder Ibrahim and the Montgomery County Public Defenders. Subsequent positions included a paralegal at Baach Robinson & Lewis PLLC and an associate at Walker Law Offices, P.C. Matthew worked as a staff attorney at the Defender Association of Philadelphia, focusing on criminal defense for the indigent, before moving to the U.S. Department of Labor as a trial attorney. In addition to practical legal work, Matthew has contributed to the legal field as an adjunct professor at both Villanova Law School and Temple University - James E. Beasley School of Law, coaching trial advocacy teams. Currently, Matthew serves as an attorney with the United States Postal Service.
