Richard Chitman

Richard Chitman is an experienced professional with a diverse background in engineering and real estate. Currently serving as an Industrial Engineer I at the United States Postal Service since March 2023, Richard provides engineering solutions to improve process flows within Postal Service Operations. Alongside this role, Richard is also a Real Estate Broker at Charlie Ward Realty and previously at Weichert, Realtors Triad Associates. Richard has extensive experience in controls engineering, having held various positions at Louisiana-Pacific Corporation from 2011 to 2018, where responsibilities included project support and improving machine efficiency. Earlier roles included positions at Pergo, LLC, Mohawk Industries, and Mannington Mills, where Richard focused on electrical engineering and process improvements.
