Vijay Jayamani has accumulated a diverse range of experiences in student advising, entrepreneurship, and industrial engineering. Serving as a Student Advising Assistant and later as Student Advising Assistant II at the GWSB Undergraduate Programs from March 2022 to May 2025, Vijay has supported undergraduate students in their academic journey. As a co-founder and CEO of MakeSpace, a sustainable startup focused on waste reduction through a consignment service, Vijay received recognition as a semifinalist in the 2023 and 2024 GW New Venture Competition. The ongoing venture, UniFlex, aims to enhance student engagement with campus organizations by offering a platform for smart scheduling and communication. Additionally, Vijay interned at the United States Postal Service, improving operational processes and participating in a development program for Industrial Engineering trainees. As a co-founder and Director of Public Relations for GW Startup Avenue, Vijay facilitates resources for student-run businesses. Vijay is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering and Business Administration at The George Washington University.
