Jim Moore

Jim Moore is an experienced government relations professional currently serving as an Attorney/Advisor at the United States Patent and Trademark Office since December 2008. Previous roles include serving as a Special Assistant to the Associate Director for Communications at the U.S. Census Bureau, where Jim focused on National Partnerships for the 2020 Census, and working as an IP Technical Advisor at the Small Business Administration to support the SBIR and STTR programs. Jim's legislative experience includes serving as Counsel for the U.S. House of Representatives' Committee on Government Reform, where Jim participated in various legislative processes and negotiations. Earlier career roles involved monitoring state congressional redistricting as Redistricting Counsel for the NRCC and representing clients at Jordan Law Offices. Jim holds a Juris Doctor degree from North Carolina Central University and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy Analysis from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
