Tom Rooks

Tom Rooks has a diverse work experience. Tom currently holds the position of Director of Sport Safety and Operations at USRowing, starting in January 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Health and Well-Being Associate at USRowing from March 2022 to February 2023. Before joining USRowing, Tom was the Director of Rowing at Williamsburg Boat Club, starting in September 2014. In this role, they coordinated and directed rowing programs, served as the head coach for the high school and middle school programs, managed boat fleets, planned regattas, scheduled events, and engaged in public outreach. Prior to their work at Williamsburg Boat Club, Tom served as a Senior Chief Petty Officer in the United States Coast Guard from December 1996 to September 2018.

Tom Rooks earned a Bachelor's degree in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management from Ashford University, where they studied from 2009 to 2011.
