Wendy Wilbur has a diverse work experience in the field of rowing. Wendy started their career in 1997 as an Elite Athlete and Athlete Representative at US Rowing, a position they held until 2004. Wendy then worked as an Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator at Boston College from 2005 to 2009. Following that, they joined Harvard University as an Assistant Coach from 2009 to 2014. In 2014, they became the Director of Rowing Operations at The University of Texas at Austin, a role they held until 2021. Wendy is currently working at USRowing, where they have held the positions of Director of National Team Athlete Services from 2018 to 2021, and is currently serving as the Associate Director of National Team Operations starting from January 2021.
