Cheryl Carlson

Cheryl Carlson, CMP, serves as the Director of Events at USS Midway Museum since July 2021, bringing extensive experience in event management and catering. Previously, Cheryl held the position of Director of Event Sales at San Diego Zoo Global & Safari Park from December 2015 to July 2021. As the owner of A Social Sense, Cheryl coordinated hundreds of weddings and events over a decade and has 22 years of hotel experience in luxury properties as Director of Catering and Special Events. Cheryl contributed to the Union of Pan Asian Communities (UPAC) by developing and executing fundraising plans and managing donor relationships from June 2007 to 2015. Educational credentials include studies at St. Cloud State University and The Culinary Institute of America.
