Joel Beardshaw has extensive experience in game design, currently serving as Lead Game Designer at ustwo games since July 2016, contributing to unannounced projects and previously working on Monument Valley 2. Prior to this role, Joel worked at Codemasters Birmingham from November 2008 to July 2016, initially as a Junior Level Designer on Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising and advancing to an Experienced Level Designer, focusing on small-scale games for iOS and downloadable platforms. Early career experience includes a Junior Level Designer position at Swordfish Studios working on 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand. Joel holds a BA(Hons) in Games Design from the University of Lincoln, completed in 2007.
