Michael Lawyer

Michael Lawyer has over 21 years of work experience in the medical field. Michael started their career in 2000 as a Paramedic Supervisor at East Texas Medical Center EMS. Michael then worked as a Flight Paramedic at EAST TEXAS MEDICAL CENTER AIR ONE from 2003 to 2015. Since 2015, Michael has been working at UT Health East Texas, initially as a Chief Flight Nurse and currently as an Air Operations Director.

Michael Lawyer has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. Michael also has an Associate's degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Trinity Valley Community College and an Associate's degree in Emergency Medical Technology/Technician (EMT Paramedic) from Tyler Junior College.
