Susan Cooper, MBA, CMOM, CMC has over 20 years of progressive experience in healthcare administration. Susan is currently serving as the Associate Vice President of Practice Plan Administration at UT Health East Texas, a position they started in May 2023. Prior to this, Susan was the Director at Hendrick Health from June 2021 to April 2023.

From 2019 to 2021, Susan worked at MountainView Regional Medical Center, where they held two roles. Susan began as an Associate Practice Administrator in February 2019 and later became the Practice Administrator from May 2020 to June 2021.

Before joining MountainView, Susan was the Director of Operations at CHRISTUS Health from February 2017 to May 2020. Susan started their career at Good Shepherd Health Care System, where they served as the Practice Manager from 2001 to 2006 before being promoted to Director of Operations from 2006 to January 2019.

Throughout their career, Susan has demonstrated strong leadership and strategic management skills in various healthcare organizations. Their expertise in practice administration and operations has contributed to the success of these institutions.

Susan Cooper, MBA, CMOM, CMC completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Healthcare Management from Western Governors University, which they pursued from 2021 to 2022. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business-Healthcare Management from the same institution in 2020.
