Antonio Hernandez

Antonio Hernandez is an accomplished medical professional with extensive experience in neonatal and perinatal medicine. Currently serving as an Associate Professor at UT Health San Antonio since July 2016, Antonio also holds dual director positions at University Health, managing neonatal documentation, billing, and transport outreach since September 2018. Previous military service included roles as a Staff Physician in the United States Air Force from August 2010 to August 2016 at various locations, and as a Pediatric Resident from July 2004 to July 2007. Antonio's educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine in Pediatrics from UT Health San Antonio and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from St. Mary's University. Early research experience was gained as a Research Assistant at UTHSCSA in the Department of Medicine.
