Carmen Garza

Carmen Garza is an experienced healthcare management professional currently serving as the Manager of Patient Financial Services at UT Health San Antonio since March 2023. Prior to this role, Carmen worked as the Urgent Care Billing Manager at Texas MedClinic from July 2010 to August 2022, overseeing billing operations for multiple urgent care clinics. Carmen's experience also includes managing several Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) as Practice Manager at CommUnityCare, and holding managerial positions at KCI Medical, HCA Patient Account Services, HCA Medicare Service Center, Reston Hospital Center, and Trident Regional Medical Center. Carmen earned an MBA in Management from Our Lady of the Lake University and holds a BS in Administration from The University of Texas Medical Branch, along with studies at The University of Texas at Austin.
