Jason Rosenfeld

Jason Rosenfeld, DrPH, MPH, CHW-I is an experienced public health professional currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Medicine/Research and Assistant Director for Global Health at UT Health San Antonio since March 2011. Rosenfeld has designed and evaluated public health interventions focused on water, sanitation, and hygiene in underserved populations in the Dominican Republic and Haiti. Additionally, Rosenfeld manages the Global Health program, overseeing a significant annual budget and coordinating educational trips for students. Previous roles include working as a Program Associate at UTHSCSA and as a Capacity Building & Research Coordinator for AfricaAHEAD/ZimAHEAD, where Rosenfeld contributed to health education and humanitarian response efforts. Educational qualifications include an Executive Doctor of Public Health Leadership from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MPH from Emory University, along with a BA in Political Science and History from Duke University.
