Josephine Taverna

Josephine Taverna is an accomplished Associate Professor of Medicine with a Joint Appointment in Molecular Medicine at UT Health San Antonio, where innovative methodologies in integrative, systems-based research are pursued, particularly in the context of cancer research focusing on the AXL-STAT3 signaling network in lung adenocarcinoma. Taverna's extensive experience includes being a NIH/Lilly Scholar at Eli Lilly and Company, a clinical investigator specializing in lung and head & neck cancers, and a recipient of an NIH K grant.
