Julie Rizzo

Julie Rizzo serves as the Trauma Research Director at Brooke Army Medical Center and holds dual positions as an Assistant Professor at UT Health San Antonio and as an Associate Professor at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences since 2015. Previously, Julie Rizzo worked as a Burn Surgeon at the U.S. Army Institute of Surgical Research from July 2014 to June 2022. Julie Rizzo earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the University at Buffalo between 2004 and 2008 and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Organic Chemistry from Hamilton College from 1999 to 2003.
