Okeanis Vaou

Okeanis Vaou, MD, FAAN, currently serves as the Vice Chair of Faculty Development and Wellness and Associate Professor of Neurology at UT Health San Antonio since September 2022. With extensive experience in movement and sleep disorders, Okeanis Vaou has held prominent positions such as Director of the Movement Disorders Program at Steward St. Elizabeth's Medical Center from September 2019 to September 2022 and Neurologist at Noran Neurological Clinic from September 2012 to November 2016. Okeanis Vaou is also an Assistant Professor of Neurology at Boston University School of Medicine since November 2016 and has been a fellow in both sleep medicine and movement disorders. Okeanis Vaou completed neurology residency at New York Medical College and also practiced at Evangelismos Hospital. Okeanis Vaou earned an MD from Semmelweis University in 1998.
