Pete Arguello

Pete Arguello, MPS, currently serves as the Senior Director of Governmental Relations at UT Health San Antonio since July 2022. Prior to this role, Pete was the Government Relations Coordinator at VIA Metropolitan Transit from December 2018 to July 2022, where responsibilities included liaising with government officials and advocating for legislative agendas and funding. Pete's experience in the U.S. House of Representatives from August 2009 to July 2022 as an Outreach Coordinator and Constituent Service Representative involved extensive community outreach and coordination of projects across nine South Texas counties. Additionally, Pete interned at Georgetown University in 2009, focusing on sports information. Pete holds a Master of Professional Studies in Sports Industry Management from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
